ARUBA 2006

I'm going to try blogging consistently again. That's right, you heard me. And with my second post since my return (see below if you missed it), here is a link to my pictures from ARUBA!!

For our annual trip, Amy and I decided on a spot that was highly recommended and a sure-shot for a nice, relaxing, and fun vacation - Aruba. Even still, because we had already gone to St. Croix, I was a bit weary about our choice. Were we going to have as much fun as we had in St. Croix? Since we planned on being there for 6 nights, were we going to get bored of this tiny island? Was it going to be just another "Caribbean" getaway?

It's safe to say that any doubts me or Amy had about the trip are officially out the window. Our trip was an amazing one. From snorkelling around a sunken shipwreck, to the butterfly farm, to horseback riding, to jet skiing, Aruba offered Amy and I with enough activities to have us exhaused and starving by the end of each day. And with the many restaurants around the island, our evening feasts were something to rememeber.

About the pictures, there's about 180 of them. I know that's a lot but take a look at them because I wrote captions for each and every one of them! Feel my pain, take a look.

Hopefully I'll be able to update this thing every once in a while. To be honest, life has been pretty monotonous lately. Not that that's a bad thing, I just feel like my life has settled into its rhythm and I'm along for the ride. But it's time to look a little deeper into each day and find those tidbits of life that pique my interest, make me happy or sad, and are the source of much of the content of this blog. So let's see what I find, and I'll let you know on here.
