"I'm bringin' it back to the old school
'cause i'm an old fool who's so cool..."

Tag Team's "Whoop there it is". What a classic. Anyway...

Ah, the corporate life. The longer I'm exposed to it, the more I notice the funny things. For instance, when having spell out something like a name over the phone...what a big ordeal! "A as in Apple, N as in Nancy, M as in Mary, blah blah blah". It takes forever to spell out anything! The funny thing is what people use for each letter. Most of the time you get the normal way using apple, bob, cat, etc...but then sometimes you get the ex-Army people that say, "A as in Alpha, B as in Bravo, C as in Charlie..." Others, in hopes of speeding up the whole process, don't even say, "as in" and start spitting out words. One guy was like, "Nancy, Mary, George, Bob..." and it took me a few seconds to figure out what the hell he was talking about. One time, a lady called in spelling her name that started with S and she was like, "S as in ....uhh....Sailboat" haha. I actually said, "Hmm, there's a new one for S," and we both shared a nice laugh. So on that note, I've decided, becuase I'm ultra bored at work, that I'm going to create a phone spelling alphabet that's a bit unorthodox, but will still get the point across. Here it is...

A as in Arachnid
B as in Bartholomew
C as in Cesarian Section
D as in Dichotomy
E as in Establishmentarianism
F as in Faux Pas
G as in Galopagos
H as in Hydroplane
I as in Idiosyncratic
J as in Jerusalem
K as in Kaleidoscope
L as in Lactose Intolerant
M as in Magna Carta
N as in Neo
O as in Dr. Octopus
P as in Pornography
Q as in Q-tip
R as in Re-establishmentarianism
S as in Sexcapades
T as in Titillating
U as in Underground Railroad
V as in Viagra
W as in Worchestershire Sauce
X as in X-Men
Y as in Yeast Infection
Z as in Zoology

Try these on for size. They're a lot more interesting than Apple and Bob.
