Memorial Day
Memorial Day has come and gone, leaving memories that'll remind us of all the good times we had in those 4 days.
There really is no way to cram everything we did in those days into just one blog...but damnit I'll try!
Arrived in SD at 230pm, picked up by Hong and his 4Runner (fully equipped with puka shells and all), Roberto's for CHimmyChongas (sp?), Uno's for drinks and the game, In and Out for dinner, balled in the East vs West championship series, acquired two silver dollar blisters on my feet, chilled, passed out, woke up to Mafia screaming, passed out again, woke up, Oscar's for feast, RiteAid for blister treatment, went to the pool, tried balling with blisters but failed, West won series, East had last laugh, Claim Jumpers, partied at L5, took scandalous pics, passed out, woke up, Jamba Juice, In and Out again, BEACH, burned, heard "The Reason" 8 times on radio, Islands for dinner (Sandpiper rules), Bubble Tea, parking lot dance circle, Daves Son performance, went back to hotel, CatchPhrase (careening!), Police knocking on our door, grilled, Mafia-ed (mafia killed me, the kaizer!), addicts played Tetris, Love Actually, various DDTs (race relations, breasts, etc.), tried to sleep, kept awake by walrus snoring (Gene), taped snoring, laughed, passed out, woke up, Claim Jumpers again, headed back to Hotel Pan, said goodbyes to SF and LA crew, chilled at La Jolla, took beautiful pics at beach, bought Life Guard Tshirts, Mootime, said goodbyes to SD crew, dropped off by Babbs at airport, forgot Life Guard Ts in Hongs car, Hong dropped off Ts, caught 1015 flight, said final goodbye to San Diego, look at pics of past weekend, passed out.
So there it is in a nutshell. Insert a lot of love, laughter, food, and sun, you'll have a pretty good picture of what it was like in San Diego.
