Lunar Ball 2003

So tonight was the last Lunar Ball of my college career. I'm proud to say that I went to all four Lunars here. And every year is different (date, venue, food, speakers) but every year proves to be a great time.

It was held at Buron Manor this year in Livonia, Michigan. Someone said it wasn't as nice as last year's venue, but I beg to differ. It was just as nice and BIGGER. Aside from the venue looking nice, everybody in attendence definitely put their best foots forward tonight, breaking out the dresses, suits (even tuxes), hair styles, and ties. In college, when evdrybody's bumming around and wearing 13 and a half layers just to keep from the cold, it's really nice to see everybody looking GREAT for once haha. That's basically the thrill I get from going to semi-formals- seeing everybody looking good. The dancing was fun tonight as well. ALthough the DJ's choices for slow songs was suspect, overall it was a fun night on the dance floor.

3 trips to the mall, hours in Express for Men picking a shirt that didn't match my date's dress, reTURNING that non-matching shirt, picking out another shirt (which was fuschia), a 10 course meal, hours of dancing, a great funKtion performance, hundreds of pictures, and one after party later.... it's finally over. Boy...what a night.

I'd like to thank my date Liz Tsai for being such a fantastical date. All that time we took trying to match each other was well worth it!! Maybe they'll put us in Shei magazine haha...
