For the record: The punch-line for the joke in my previous entry is this (for dpma and ivan)...the name Denise is pronounced "Da Neese" or..."Da Niece" In the context of the joke, the Uncle was just saying "The Niece" but with a dumb accent..."Da Niece" which sounds like Denise (nice normal name). That's why his nephew's name is Denephew...which is pronounced "Da Nephew" like "The Nephew" So ultimately, the names he gave the children are "The Niece" and "The Nephew" but with a slight accent...which justifies the mother's claim that her brother (the uncle) is a complete idiot.
