The morning after...
...the CRAZY weekend down at U of Illinois- Urbana Champagne a.k.a UIUC to us Michigan folk, was a tough one. As expected, this past weekend turned into a weekend of fun, fun, and more fun. Although the crowd wasn't as big this year, dope were the performances, hard was the partying, and fun were the times spent with 2XS UIUC and 2XS Michigan. There's nothing like a road trip, a hot party, and alcohol to get people to bond together. Bonds between funKtion and 2XS Michigan are at a high point right now, and that's really what it's about- friendship and dancing.
After so much fun and bonding, the morning after can be a tough one. I woke up today at 1130, tempted to miss my SECOND class (the first being at 830), but ended up going to that and my third class. Symptoms of fatigue, warmth, and a touch of sore throat led me to believe that I had caught a slight fever. After class I came home, lounged around the apartment, chatted online, and debated for about an hour or so what to do with my growing fro. That, plus some sushi from Sushi.Come and a failed attempt at studying leads me here, popping Ibuprofen and Sudafed pills like it's nobody's business. Ain't no thang...only a small price to pay for a ridiculous weekend.
