WHOAAAAA NELLY!!!!!!!
FIVE ENTIRE DAYS without blogging....i'm waiting for the "officials" to come and deport me from the Blogging community. I can just picture myself in a movie like "the Saint", running away from gov't officials that seek to put an end to my life...... driving around in my brand new BMW with paul oakenfold-ish music playing in the background as i skillfully navigate between oncomming traffic while three Volvos carrying secret gov't agents chase after me through the streets of Berlin. Very Ronin-ish wouldn't you say? Too bad i never saw the movie.
Enough about my present day fantasies.....it's time now to reflect upon these past five days and analyze how they have affected my life. Hmmm...since i can only remember back until Thursday, we'll start then. Let's see...thursday i went to the beach with two of my best friends (guys) and two old friends from HS (girls). Meeting up with them was really cool since i haven't seen them since graduation. Yes yes, another one of my "reconnect with old friends" things during the summer. We had a great time at Jones Beach...talking about old times and such...plus we got great tans =)
Friday i went to Exit for the second time this summer. PACKED as always, and the few friends that i brought along didn't quite enjoy the hot, humid, sweaty, sticky atmosphere of the club. But i managed to enjoy myself as usual. Wanna know what happened?? I bumped into a friend from HS!! Well, i wouldnt' say she was a friend because prior to that night, i had never spoken a word to her. But we had mutual friends and basically were aware of each others' existence. What surprised me most was the fact that she recognized me with the bald head and all (still a controversial topic with family and friends). What's funny though, is that i knew her name and everything WAY back like in sophomore year in HS....when i had a little crush on her. HAHA YES...Pierre had a crush (might sound amazing to some of you out there). I always saw her on the train going home and thought she was cute...a crush formed. Anyways....i saw her, mustered up some balls and said HI. She was very responsive to everything i said, which is always good. And by the end, i had her number......score one for the team =) After hours on the main trance floor, we finally left by 530am. How has this affected my life? i am officially sick of Hardcore Trance for the next 37 months.
Saturday i woke up at 4pm and just chilled with a few family friends for the whole night. One of the things we did was watch my brother and couple of his friends race their Radio Control cars. But not just ANY RC cars....GASOLINE powered cars. DAMN those things are awesome. My brother has the Tommy Makkinen WRC Lancer Evolution VI....one of the GREAT Rally cars today. He took it to the baseball field and drove on the dirt....BOY did it look like a real rally car. I'll tell you one thing.....these aren't you're normal TYCO RC cars =) Now if i had 500 dollars, i would finally be able to own my own WRC (World Rally Championship) Toyota Corolla....*sigh*
And these first two hours of Sunday morning have been pretty uneventful so far.....let's hope that'll change in the near future.
