The summer is ending and it is VERY sad. I knew the summer was ending a couple weeks ago...cause one day it just HIT me like a brick wall. "DAMN...THE SUMMER'S OVER AND I DIDN"T DO ANYTHING." But what made it hit even more was the fact that one of my good friends is MOVING BACK TO SCHOOL tomorrow....isn't that insane? it's only August 21st and people are ALREADY moving back up to school.
Quite honestly, i fear school at this point. I do NOT want to go back. "Well aren't you gonna miss your michigan friends?" yeah yeah i will...but i'm not gonna miss all the work and pressure to do well....and my michigan friends could do without me for another month or so. ANd i'm sure most of my michigan friends will say the same..."just gimme another month"
One of the things i fear most about Michigan is FunKtion....as weird as that may sound. THe overwhelming pressure to keep the "HYPE" alive is...is......killing me. A lot of our guys have fallen victem to graduation which leaves us with 50% newbies...not good. Just talked to Jon G (for gonads) about funKtion next year....he knows what i'm talkin about. Just gotta keep my fingers crossed...
But #1 on my list of fears is the schoolwork ie exams, homework, projects, papers.....i need a 4.0 these last four semesters to come out with a decent GPA. Last year i f*cked up....did too many things...was in over my head. As a result my gpa dropped like a rock in a river. Can't let that happen again.
