Dearest Dirtiest Bessie,
Ahhh..the sun is shining, the breeze is cool....it is a day to play some BALL. Ok ok...can't forget to mention what happened last night or else Bessie will get NASTY on me.....SO... Me and my good friend Chur met up with Aileen and Stacy for some dinner at Applebee's. I don't know why i ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger cause after eating Johnny Rockets...nothing will ever compare to the St. Louis. In any event...we talked, caught up on things, did the "friendship tuneup" with questions like, "So what are you guys doing over the summer?....When are you going back up to school?...What classes are you taking this semester?....What's your major?" After all that generic, conversational junk....we started getting PERSONAL...."So do you have a bf...what's his name....does he have great hair...is he cute....is he cuter than me???" You know.... typical questions that will almost make us best friends.....almost. =) HAHah....but it's all fun and games...except for the part where they ask me if i have a gf yet and the answer is always, "No"................so ANYWAYS, we went to see Legally Blonde which was the only movie that the rest of the group agreed to see. Legally Blonde- a fun, no-brainer, feel-good, comedy that will do wonders to your non-eventful friday nights. In other words, i enjoyed it....but not as good as the classic.....CLUELESS.
Plans for this weekend....CAPE COD baby!! It's an annual trip that my family and I make... up to my Aunt's summer house which happens to be ON a beautiful lake. We go almost every year and do the SAME EXACT THING EVERY YEAR....but it's always fun =) The schedule is broken down like a science...like Organic Chemistry....leave friday night on a grueling 5-6 hour drive at around 4am...arrive at the Sunantana Residence At around 10...grab our tennis rackets and head to the courts for a couple hours where we can get in a few matches and a spot of tea and cakes (kidding about the tea and cakes...british humor)...then head back to the house, strip down to your swimwear (making sure to reveal all untoned, unexercised, unmuscular parts of the body for thorough tanning...covering up only the bare essentials from the waste to JUST past the knees) and jump HEADFIRST into the lake. There we will play and frolic for a couple hours, then grab some lunch....(ok this is taking too long...going into fast forward movde)...grab bikes...ride...come home...cook lobster...eat lobster....swat annoying flies and mosquitos...drive to Provincetown...walk...eat saltwater taffy...walk...ben & jerry's ice cream...walk...back to car...drive home...sleep...wake...tennis...swim...lunch....leave...arrive home..blog...then wake up and do nothing. WHEW...ok that was painstakingly long.
So basically..it's a time to relax, get away from city life, and eat good shellfish...fun times. =)
Ok ok...time to ball. Sorry for the long and boring blog, Bessie.....i'll make it up to you next time *wink wink*
