My life's a mess...
My room is filthy. The only part of my room that's relatively clean are the closets, and that's because half of my clothes, dirty and clean, are laying on the floor. The other half are still in the "clean hamper" in the basement, requiring me to run up and down between floors if I need a sock or a T-shirt. The bookbag I brought to St. Croix still hasn't been fully unpacked yet and I can't find my winter accessories (hat, gloves, etc). Bishop (my turtle) is so big and his tank so small that he rotates in place all day. His water is always murky because the filter just isn't getting the job done anymore. To top if all off, I have a little gray mouse living in the old cabinet in my room. At night I hear him running around in the cabinet that's mainly used for storage. Sometimes he's chewing up tissue paper, other times he's just clawing at the drawers. I know this because I've caught him in the act a few times. But most of the time he makes his presence known by dropping his little gifts of feces here and there.
I purchased a new cell phone about a month ago and the $150 rebate has yet to be filled out and mailed in. It's sitting on my computer desk downstairs.
My niece's birthday party was over a month ago and I had caught most of it on video. I thought I'd edit it, put it together, and give it to my brother but it's taken me 6 weeks to get meager 1.5 minutes of video editted. I have 9 days to finish it up and give it as part of his Christmas gift.
It's 9 days before Christmas and my Christmas tree is still in the attic.
I weigh an all time high 155lbs. At 5'9", that sounds like avg. weight for a person my height. But the sad part is that my arms, legs, and chest all look exactly the same. Where did the gained 20lbs go, you ask? To my belly, that's where. I look like a starving child who's ultra skinny but has an oddly bulbous belly. Somehow I've managed to concentrate all my fat ino one area, achieving one of the rarest body-types. I haven't played any sports in over 4 months and I get winded walking up a few flights of stairs. I eat junk everyday and sit at a desk for a living, undoubtedly fermenting all the fat from my food as I sit. I can't touch my toes, you can't tell my splits from my normal stance, and my back starts to hurt if I walk for more than 30 minutes.
Things need to be done. Changes need to be made.
