Randomosity
Just another Sunday, just another blog, right? Wrong! Today is July 4th, Independance day, the day that colonial America rose up and demanded its freedom from imperialist Britain. Today marks the 228th anniversary of that monumental day in this country's history, celebrated nationwide with barbeques and fireworks. And today, I'm siting here in the office, working on a national holiday.
Spider-Man 2. In my opinion, there hasn't been a more anticipated movie since Matrix Reloaded. This silver screen isntallment of the Amazing Spider-Man proves that sequals aren't all doomed to fail- and it so didn't. Along with the signature high-flying stunts (thanks to CGI) and ridiculous camerawork to capture all the whirlwind action sequences, SM2 sits you down and introduces you to its wonderfully deep characters- most notabley our web-slinging hero. Throw in the spider/man internal conflict and a 8-legged mad scientist, you got yourself a summer blockbuster that'll be hard to beat.
I was driving my car at 430 this morning and everything was fine. I just had a nice night out with friends and was ready to crash right when I got home. I'm 3 minutes from my house when BOOM! I drove over something. It was either a rock or a pothole, but whatever it was, it sure rocked the hell out of my car. Right after I hit it, I thought everything was fine until the left side of my car started getting lower and my steering kept pulling left. I had a flat. 430am on the highway and 3 minutes from my house! Can you believe that?! So I changed the tire and finally got into bed at 6 and 3 hours later I'm back in my car driving into work on Sunday July 4th.
I have a friend. My friend lives very close to me. I don't see him much over the winter months but during the summer he's always there. He is my shoulder hair. Yes that's right, he is a single hair that rooted itself on my right shoulder. And everytime I wear a cut-off tshirt, he's right there standing tall in the breeze, ready to go wherever I lead him. He's not much to look at but he's my shoulder hair.
note: randomosity is not a word as you all probably know. Just thought I'd say something different for once. haha
