A couple things...
I love Christmas. Ask JB, and he'll tell you I'm probably the number one advocate for this holiday. But it's not because I'm religous and celebrate the holiday for it's true meaning, I just love the whole commercialized aspect of the holiday. That's right, I admit it- I love the all the stores and malls decked out in holiday gear, I love the mobs of shoppers, I love Santa, I love the reindeer, and I love the songs. You don't have to be Christian to enjoy this holiday...no not at all. It's all about the spirit of giving, making people smile, and expecting nothing in return.
Two things weirded me out these past few days...
Exhibit A- A few days ago a bunch of us had a late dinner at Pizza House. And when I mean a "bunch", I'm talkin about 30+ people, all gathered on the second floor smoking section of PIzza House. Anyway, at the dinner, the 2XS newbies decided to surprise the 2XS oldies with a card saying "thanks" for everything. A very warm gestures indeed. During this little presentation I turned to JB and Poon and said, "I don't think funKtion even has any newbies." Then Poon says, in his very Poon-sh way, "I'm not a funKtion newbie, I'm a funKtion BABY!" My jaw and JB's jaw dropped to the floor and hysteric laughter ensued. Who says that?! Who calls themself a funKtion BABY?! Obvsiously Poon does. funKtion, an all male hip hop dance group, does NOT have babies. We have MEN haha. And yet, in all of his Poon-anity, I'm very glad he's part of the squad.That's right, I'm glad we have Poon. haha
Exhibit B- As I was browsing through peoples' blogs and xanga pages, I stumbled across Shao's (Steve Song) page. And FINALLY, he updated it since his birthday back in October. So I was reading his blog which talked about all the things that has happened to him since his last entry. He then goes on to talk, indirectly, about his relationship with this girl who shall remane anonymous. Now if you know Shao, you would find that weird in itself. Little Shao? The "baby" of funKtion only two years ago? Talking about his GF?? If THAT didn't weird you out enough, he even said "I miss you!" to her! AWWWWwwwWWWWwwwwWWwWWWW.....(puke) haha. At least he's happy, right?
