That's right, it's been 5 days since a slight sore throat turned into a suffocating viral infection of my tonsils. It's still unsure whether what I've contracted is Mono or not, but all I know right now is that it SUCKS. And just last night, as if my sore throat wasn't enough, I started getting fevers on and off, making my night's sleep almost unbearable.
The only good thing that came out of this is that I got to come home early. But being sick, and possibly not being able to see my niece is a far greater price to pay just to come home a couple days early. Please PLEASE let this not be Mono.
