930 am on a class-less friday...
After not sleeping for 48 hours, i attempted to readjust my sleeping cycle to something more "normal" last night by sleeping at 11pm. I thought i would have slept more, but my eyes opened and remained that way when my digital timex alarm clock struck 8am. So this is what it feels like to be diurnal again. Feels good.
In my infinite boredom at this early hour of Friday the 12th, i decided to check out my AsianAvenue page to see if maybe, just MAYBE someone signed my guestbook for the first time in over a year. NONE. So instead, i decided to check up on some of my AsianAvenue friends and looked at their pages....kind of a glimpse into what they're up to.
After checking a bunch of pages (mostly high school friends) i realized one thing....i don't know these people anymore!
Remember in HS when you basically knew everybody and everything that was going on? YOu knew who hungout with who, who dated who, who went to the prom with who..etc etc. And if you checked their asianavenue page, you knew all the people they gave "shout outs" to because they were all people that were part of your world too...your high school world.
Now when i try to take a glimpse into their world again, it's like a whole new world....seriously.
"mad luv to my babie Chris and my sisters of blah blah blah sorority"- who the hell is chris? and when did you join a sorority?
Kinda makes me sad to think that we've all grown up and apart from each other since HS. BUt i guess that's life, right? Can't stay close to everybody forever.....that would just take too much "frienship" maintenance.
I just realized, i blog about "friendships" alot.
