Janet week commenced last weekend with the arrival of James, Victor, Ryan, and Georgette (Jon Yang's twin sister). But i didn't start getting into the mix until this past tuesday. To be honest, i was kinda wary of what it would be like to have everybody back again....i knew i would love seeing everybody again and i'm sure i'd have fun...but for some reason i wasn't sure how it was gonna go. Then the moment i stepped into apartment 5228 (i think) of Avalon Cove to see Heather, Palak, James, and Sujeet standing there.....it was ECASU ALL OVER AGAIN!!!! it felt so weird seeing everybody but it was a great weird feeling. I felt as if i was taken back to spring break when FunKtion and some 2XS girls drove from Michigan to NY to perform at the East Coast Asian Student Union hosted by Columbia University. EVERYBODY was back again...cramped into that apartment...blankets all over the place. I was so HAPPY. There i was, sitting on the couch looking at everybody walking around, amazed at the fact that they're even THERE in nyc. The fun was JUST beginning.....
After i day of ball and a night of Mafia...the JANET concert was finally next on our itinerary. ...
THAT....CONCERT....WAS....HOT!!!!!! DAMN i was sO impressed by the concert. It was freakin amazing....everything about the concert was amazing.....that's basically all i can say about that. 112 was good too...and the surprise guest P-Diddy and the Bad Boy family was a pleasant surprise. But JANET.....i love you....haha
The past three days have been AMAZING.....chillin with everybody again was great. Sam Sneed was once again spittin out his hilarious one-liners....conversations on race & ethnicity and religion....and of course all night mafia sessions. Good times good times.
But one thing that i picked up these past few days was a Buddy. Yes....i have a buddy...a friend, a companion....a confidant. Georgette and I are buddies. With 20+ people walking around the city, me and Georgette decided to pair up and become buddies....keeping each other in check and accounted for...all the while encouraging others to join the buddy system. We are the ULTIMATE buddies....RAISING the bar, setting the STANDARD for a complete and healthy buddy relationship. James and Heather are slowly, but surely, catching on....but still not at our level. Keept at it guys....
Right now i'm home, but i'll soon be chillin with everybody again....
