12:37 am...parents breathing down my neck to get packed...burning cds for the long drive....sweat pouring down my face...and Emperor's New Groove playing again....the pressure...IS....ON!!!
But of course i have time to BLOG...psshh...of course =) A few quick words before i depart on my voyage to the Cape. I had just returned from a trip to my friend's (Amy) church. Ahh yes...CHurch....Christianity....i can write a separate blog about that..but i'll be sure to have a few entries dealing with spirituality and after-death theologies and theories. But yes....i heard some very encouraging words tonight about experiences that people have had with their religion...how they've been "reborn" or "saved" from a life stricken with depression, drugs, and attempted suicides. It just got me thinking...that no matter what the religion, EVERY religion aims for true happiness be it in different forms and achieved through different methods. So to see these people truly happy....makes me happy for them. I know i know...it sounds cheesy but what can i say??
All packed and ready to venture out to the land of fresh air, cool ocean breezes, and songs of birds....together with my family....i can't really ask for more huh? MY Happiness shall set in once the drive starts and ENYA's "Only Time" plays on the cd player. AHhhh....let the fun begin =)
